Solar Living Center (SLC), famously known for selling the first solar panels in the US, back in ‘78, is a 12-acre campus focused on educating the public. Leading by example, SLC implemented the newest and most effective techniques in sustainable design. Our role was to be the cultural researcher and program concept designer for this amazing team. The goal was to create a system that provided inspirational education, community promotion, and stewardship demonstration through their actions as users and consumers of goods.

Today, SLC is a thriving, brilliant, green oasis alongside Highway 101, voted the #1 rest stop in California, and still draws clients in to explore the newest off-the-grid tech.
